Location Portuairk
This restored Black House, perched on rocks beside a secluded white
sandy beach, is reached by a 150m scramble along the Portuairk to Sanna
footpath. Its remote location provides a rare sense of seclusion from
the outside world. A warming stove and attractive, rustic
furnishings give the cottage a cosy atmosphere. It is a unique
experience for the adventurous, for the nature lover and for those
seeking a place where it is impossible not to be lost in the unrushed
serenity of Ardnamurchan.
All on one level: open plan kitchen /
living room, with one double sofa bed, wood burning stove, electric cooker, fridge, shower room with
toilet. There is no cleaning between lets (due to the
property's remoteness) and it is essential to arrive in daylight.
Rudh Dubh is not let in the winter months, from October through to March.

"Our second visit to this wonderful place. With a cottage and
view this beautiful we had no need to go far. Spent our time watching
the tides, weather, boats sailing by, and the wildlife. Really enjoyed
the peace and remoteness, a beautiful relaxing week."

"What a lovely environment this little cottage is located in,
bristling with the energy of nature yet at the same time very tranquil
and peace filled. The views from Rudh Dubh and the surrounding hills are
indeed panoramic and breathtaking. "
