House Description
Extensively refurbished in the last two years, this house is fully equipped to sleep 8 but is also suitable for smaller numbers. It is spacious, with terrace at the front and decking at the back, located amidst pleasantly wooded surroundings.
All on the ground floor: kitchen with dining area and living room. One double bedroom, two twin bedrooms, alcove with bunks for two (separated by a curtain), bathroom with shower and additional toilet and washbasin.

To find Jack’s Ranch: as you come into the village of Kilchoan there is an Hotel on your left and then a church on your right. 300 metres further on take the turning to your right at the sign for Steading Holidays. Drive past the office, go over the cattle grid, continue up the hill & Jack’s Ranch (which is clearly sign-posted) is the first turning on the right. The door will be unlocked and the key will be inside on the living room dresser.
The normal day of arrival is a Saturday and the property is available from 4.00pm on the holiday start date until 10.00am on the finish date.
Please read the meter on arrival and departure, and leave a cheque or cash in payment, made out to Mrs Mackay (the house owner). The cost per unit will be clearly displayed in your house. The hot water, heating (if necessary) & fridge/freezer will be on for your arrival.
Linen Hire can be provided @£6.00 per person. If you wish to order, please fill in the enclosed linen form at least two weeks in advance of your holiday start date & send it, along with payment, to: Mr. W.F. Lloyd, Steading Holidays, Kilchoan, ARGYLL PH36 4LH The linen includes duvet covers, sheets & pillowcases. There is no bedding supplied with the cot.
You are respectfully reminded that any damages must be reported and paid for and properties must be left in a clean and tidy condition prior to departure.
If you are bringing a dog, please take extra care, as one or two house owners have experienced damage from dogs.
We do not normally call on you during your stay here as we have discovered from past experience that that timing for this can tend to be difficult. However, if you have any problems or queries do please do not hesitate to call your House Manager, Bill Lloyd, on 01972 510 262, or call in at the Steading Holidays office.
