House Description

Situated high up on the hill, Strathconon, a wooden chalet, boasts wonderful views in all directions. All on the ground floor: entrance porch, open plan living room, kitchen and dining area, shower room, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom.

To find Strathconon: as you come into the village of Kilchoan there is a Hotel on your left and then a Church on your right. 300 metres further on take the turning to your right at the sign for Steading Holidays. Drive past the office and go over the cattle-grid past two A-Frames, continue up the hill past another three A-Frames and Strathconon is on your right set back off the road. The door will be unlocked and the key will be inside the house. .

The normal day of arrival is a Saturday and the property is available from

4.00pm on the holiday start date until 10.00am on the finish date.

 

Please read the meters on arrival and departure, and leave cash or a cheque made out to Miss J. Levens (the house owner). The costs per unit will be clearly displayed in your house. The hot water, heating (if necessary) and fridge will be on for your arrival.

Full Linen Service can be provided @£7.00 per person. If you wish to order, please fill in the enclosed linen form at least two weeks in advance of your holiday date and send it, along with payment, to: Mrs A. Chapple, The Sheiling, Kilchoan, Acharacle, ARGYLL PH36 4LH. The linen will include duvet covers, sheets, pillowcases, towels, tea- towels and bathmat.

There is no bedding supplied with the cot.

 

You are respectfully reminded that any damages must be reported and paid for and properties must be left in a clean and tidy condition prior to departure.

If you are bringing a dog, please take extra care, as one or two owners have experienced damage from dogs.

We do not normally call on you during your stay here as we have found from past experience that timing for this can tend to be difficult, but if you have any problems or queries please phone your House Manager Aija Chapple on 01972 510 278 or alternatively the Steading Holidays office on 01972 510 262.
