To find Braeriach: after you pass Ben Hiant on your left and Loch Mudle on your right take the fork to the right, signposted Ockle. At the junction with the Fascadale road, turn right and cross the burn, pass Branualt Cottage (on your right) then Breariach is on your left. Open the grey gate, and drive into the drive way ( there is enough room for 2 cars) at the front of the house. The porch door will be unlocked and the key will be on the kitchen table. Half Linen Hire can be provided at £6.00 per person. If you wish to order, please fill in the enclosed linen form at least two weeks in advance and send it to; Mrs. Cheadle, Sanna Croft, Acharacle, Ardnamurchan, ARGYLL PH36 4LW. along with your cheque. The linen will include duvet covers, sheets, pillowcases, tea towels and bath mat, there is no bedding supplied with the cot. If you are bringing your own linen there are teatowels, kitchen towels and oven gloves provided. Please read the meter on arrival and departure, and leave cash or a cheque in payment made out to Mr Barrett (the house owner). The cost per unit will be clearly displayed in the house. The hot water, heating (if necessary) and refrigerator will be on for your arrival. Enough kindling, wood and coal will be left to take you over the weekend. Coal can be bought at The Ferry Stores in Kilchoan in 20kg bag. Peat briquettes may also be available. Pay Phone in the house: 01972 510 343. If you have arranged to bring a dog, please do take extra care, as one or two owners have experienced damage from dogs. Please also bear in mind that Kilmory is a crofting township, and therefore it is imperative that dogs must be kept under strict control if sheep are grazing nearby. You are respectfully reminded that any damages must be reported and paid for, and properties must be left in a clean and tidy condition prior to departure. If you experience any problems, please call the House Manager, Sue Cheadle, on 01972 510 760 or alternatively the Steading Holidays office on 01972 510 262 |
