House Description
Located in a remote position on the north coast of Ardnamurchan, with fabulous views to the Isles.
All on ground floor: kitchen, leading to dining / living area with an open fire and multi-fuel stove; two double bedrooms with storage heaters and bathroom.
Welcome to Ardnamurchan.
To find Coldstream Cottage: after you pass Ben Hiant (on your left) and Loch Mudle (on your right) take the fork to the right, signposted Ockle. At the junction with the Fascadale road, turn right, cross the burn, continue on this road past Kilmory and on along the coast for approx. two miles. Coldstream is the white cottage with a yellow door, and is the first house you come to on your left-hand side. The key will be in the door.
The normal day of arrival is a Sunday and the property is available from 4.00pm on the holiday start date until 10.00am on the finish date.
Enough firelighters will be left to take you over the weekend and coal is left available for your use at the side of the house.
Please read the electricity meter on arrival and departure, and leave a cheque or cash in payment made out to Miss C. Rudd (the house owner). The cost per unit will be clearly displayed in the house. The hot water, fridge/freezer & (if necessary) heating will be on for your arrival.
There is no linen provided so it is necessary to bring a king-size duvet cover, king-size sheet, & a double duvet cover & double sheet for the other bed, pillowcases, towels & teatowels.
Because of new ownership, access to Swordle Beach is now unrestricted, but please pay due respect to any tenants of Bay House. Please read the notes in the house with regard to this.
You are respectfully reminded that any damages must be reported and paid for and properties must be left in a clean and tidy condition prior to departure.
